With Huisman Equipment as a main contractor, SMST has delivered the following equipment for Heerema Offshore Services B.V.’s newly-built deep-water construction vessel Aegir:

• Pipe PLET Loader for handling pipe sections and PLETs (max. 200t) from the main deck storage to the fire line
• Workstation equipped with manipulators, weld floor, hatches, E-room and control cabin
• Design of pipe reels and cradles
• Reel drive unit
• Land spool base equipment: level winders, reel drive systems and hydraulic power units
